Sick, sick, sick!

I haven't been blogging much lately. I haven't been doing much of anything lately. That's because all my time is spent with my face in this:

Or lying around in this:

If you don't already know, I'm 12 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and I have been really sick. Like a million times worse than with Johnny. I have a newfound respect for women who are sick with every pregnancy and still keep having kids!

But at least the excitement and positives of having another baby offset the negatives of feeling so rotten.

There's lots more I wish I had the energy to blog about...we just got back yesterday from the fabulous annual Crofts family Bear Lake trip, Johnny is turning into a real kid and into anything with wheels or that rolls (aka cars, trucks, buses, balls, etc), talking up a storm and obsessed with letters (thanks to the letter factory dvd), and pretty much using up every ounce of energy I don't have.

I'm praying that the stats are right and that the pukies will start to subside now that I'm almost done with my first trimester because I really don't want to end up in the hospital on IV fluids (which is where I will be if this little baby doesn't start letting me keep my food so I can pack on the pounds). I really can't wait until I can walk in a grocery store without gagging and only buying like 2 things because I can't stand to look at the food. And I'm sure my poor hubby and kid can't wait until they can subsist on something other than grilled cheese and applesauce (which are my go-to foods on bad days).

I'm so excited for you! The IV fluids always helped me a ton with my first pregnancy. I've only had to have one with the pregnancy. I really hope you start to feel better soon. I wish I was in Utah so I could babysit John for you while you got some rest. You're in my prayers!

Just commented on your facebook page, but had to say again, CONGRATS. I'm glad you've finally announced. Are you already 12 weeks? Woah. It's going by fast already. Cute post, good luck, see you soon dear.

Congratulations Courtney!! Yay! That is so exciting! So, I was way more sick with this one then I was with Tucker and it's a girl...so maybe you're having a girl??
(try and plain bagel with plain cream cheese...that's about the only thing I could keep down for a while)
Hope you feel better soon!!

Congratulations. That is so exciting. Happy to hear that baby number two is on the way. Happy for your little family. Sorry to hear you are so sick with this on, sicker than you were with Johnny. Maybe that means a little girl is on the way. Who knows. Congratulations

Congratulations!! I heard a little rumor that you were pregnant, but I am glad to see the official announcement out there. I hope you start to feel better soon. I know everyone is different but in my case baby number two, even though I was sicker when pregnant, has been way easier upon arrival, it is amazing how a little experience goes a LONG way. Congrats again.

Bear Lake was fun and I know the boys had a good time playing with each other on the deck etc :) We should plan a camping trip when you start feeling better and have more energy. I really hope you get better soon Court, you're amazing!

Woohoo! Congrats on the pregnancy! Bummer about being sick. I just have to warn my family that I won't really be cooking for a couple months. It's just too hard to deal with food that sounds/looks/smells disgusting when you feel that nauseous. Hopefully it will ease up soon!

Congrats Court! I feel your pain . . . I was much sicker with baby #2. Try plain cheerios and corn flakes. They were the only things I ate for a few weeks. Good luck with the next 28 weeks. They will be much better I'm sure!

Congrats. I was SOO much sicker with the second. It turned out to be the opposite sex! Now I have one of each.
