Every year at Christmas time my dad dresses up like Santa at work and since he still had the costume we decided that little John needed to have his first Christmas pictures with Santa. Unfortunately he was Mr. Sleepyhead and didn't actually "see" Santa, but I know that he was subconsciously communicating all those Christmas wishes!
He's actually been much more alert during the day and sleeping better at night (I got 2 four hour stretches last night!!!), but every time I go to take his picture he is sound asleep. Oh well, at least he looks like a little angel!
We still can't believe how fast the time is flying by and how big our little guy is getting. He's so long that at 2 wks he's just about growing out of some of his newborn and 0-3 mo. clothes! Every day is a new adventure, some more challenging than others, but for the most part we're loving every minute.

That's an awesome picture with your dad! You're going to have to explain that to little John when he gets old enough to believe in Santa! haha.
It is amazing how fast they grow. You are smart to take lots of pictures because they change so quickly.

I think that he heard that Santa only comes when good little children are asleep. He is such a good child that he wanted to make Santa happy by sleeping soundly. So well behaved so young!
