Cousins and Christmas

Last week John's sister Laura, her husband Austin, and their 4 month old baby Tommy were in town so little John got to meet his cute cousin! It's so crazy to see how fast they grow--Tommy looks like a giant compared to John right now, but at the rate he's packing on the pounds I'm sure it won't be long before John catches up.
I think Tommy fits in the Jumperoo a little better than John does!

Meeting Grandma Crofts for the first time, unfortunately I couldn't stop eating my hand long enough for my mom to get a good picture.

I'd have to agree with Tommy, he does have a pretty tasty head!

We've also had a great time hanging out with Eric and Andrea's kids since they've been in town for Megan's wedding and Christmas. My mom really wanted to get a picture with all 4 grandkids, but as you can see it's slightly tricky to get all of them to sit still at the same time. Baby Whitney is only 3 weeks older than John and she is one darling kid! We just can't wait to get down to St. George so John can meet his cousin Josh--they're only 2 days apart and I'm pretty sure they're destined to be little buddies!

Our Christmas was REALLY laid back this year, in fact we got a total of maybe 6 hrs sleep the two nights before Christmas combined so we spent a good part of the day taking naps and trying to undo even a small part of the sleep deprivation. And on top of the usual exhaustion big John came down with some kind of flu virus so we've spent a lot of time at home trying to recuperate. But here's at least one picture to show how excited the little dude was about opening his first Christmas presents...Just look at how he can't contain his excitement! Oh well, I guess I should be grateful he's not running around throwing ornaments off the tree and tearing wrapping paper off presents that aren't for him. We'll save that for next year!

Sorry for all the pictures, I promise sometime I'll actually sit down and do some real writing. Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas and maybe one of these days you'll get a very belated Christmas card in the mail!

So darling, Courtney! I love the edible head picture. The boys may enjoy that one in the future. Merry quiet Christmas, and I hope John is feeling better.

Fun pictures! All the kiddos in your family are so cute. I love John's sweater! Don't you just love dressing him? I swear I think more about what Tucker's going to wear then what I'm going to wear! haha...ah the joys of being a mom!

WHat I meant to write was, "Not ONLY am I drooling over cute John's face... etc"
