The Other End of the World
This has been quite the unusual month for us. *Taking two large trips in a month has never happened before nor will it likely ever happen again* But I won't complain, seeing both Mexico and Alaska in a month was well worth the ridiculous amount of time I have spent packing and doing laundry. I also have to add, though these trips were wonderful I think maybe I've been spending too much time in escapism mode because coming back to reality has been HARD! I've been dealing with some challenging things that are kickin' me in the toosh, but I'll save that for another post and refrain from putting a damper on these fun memories.

The first day was really cold but thankfully it warmed up and the rest of the week was actually really nice!

When we first got into Glacier Bay we expected it to be frigid so we dressed for the arctic, only to find out it was actually warm outside. Later this same day little J was wading in the pool.

The highlight of the trip for most of us, but probably the most terrifying 2 hours of John Hyrum's life, was taking a float-plane ride over the misty fjords of Ketchikan.
Thankfully half way through we landed on a lake and Johnny was so exhausted from all that thrilling turbulence that he fell asleep
Not a very good picture, but check out that waterfall in the lower left hand corner right at the edge of the cloud.

holy cow! That looks like so much fun!! I'm so bummed that we didn't get a chance to see you while we were in UT. I really want to get our 2 little men together. We'll HAVE to do it next time!!
Welcome home, again! Glad you're all safe and that you had such a great time. If you need help re-acclimating or anything, let us know.......we'd love to get together and hear more about it.

What a cool trip! It's just beautiful. Glad the weather was nice for you too. The float plane ride looks like a really great way to see the scenery. Very fun.
