We miss you Grandpa C

My wonderful Grandpa Cannon passed away this last Tuesday. He had been sick for some time and we were blessed to be able to spend some precious moments with him before he passed, but even so it's never easy to say goodbye to someone you love so much. He was truly one of my heroes, both he and my Grandma Cannon have this amazing ability to make everyone they meet feel special and cared about. I could go on and on about this incredible man (and his infamous birthday cards, generous service around the world, piano and musical skills, example of dedication to family and friends, strong testimony of the gospel, etc, etc) but right now I'm exhausted and I know nothing I say will really do him justice. So I'll just leave you with a few pictures from back in the day:

Oh Court, I'm so sorry! I just barely saw your blog, and it made me really sad. I hope you guys are doing okay. If it weren't 11:20, I'd call you. We love you guys!

I loved your grandpa so much as well! He really was a great, great man. He will be missed tremendously. We all loved him so much! When I was home a few months ago, I was able to hear him bear his testimony in the 6th ward from the audience and it touched my heart to no end. He certainly was in the "service of his fellow beings" til his dying day. What a remarkable example he was to me! AND your grandma, too. Really, who could have brought two sweeter souls together? Thanks for posting those pictures!
