Here's a little update for ya!

I've been a bit of a slacker on the blogging front lately. There has been tons of stuff going on (when is life NOT busy? Please let me know!) but I just haven't had the energy to sit down and document it. So here are a few random catch up pictures:

Easter Sunday (I told you I'm behind!)

This kid has started putting EVERYTHING in his mouth! I guess I better start vacuuming the floors! :)

I was trying to get a picture with him and the tulips (see below) but little J wasn't so sure about sitting outside in the bright light.

Poor kid, pretty sure he's thinking "Mom, it's exhausting holding this big noggin' of mine up all day. And now you're making me take pictures?"

We're going down to St. George and Vegas in a few weeks...you can see how excited/desperately in need of a vacation we are by the fact that we're already putting bubba in his swim suit?!

Last week little J came down with a rash all over his face. You can't really tell from the pictures but he was so red and I think it made him really mad that he didn't know how to itch it. He kept waking up all night long and I'd go in there to find him whacking at his face! :( Of course I scoured the Internet to try and figure it out and my brilliant non-MD conclusion was that I've been eating too much peanut butter and using too many scented dryer sheets. And I'm proud to say that upon elimination of the above we are now rash free (ok, there's probably a 99% chance it was something else, but please, humor me!).

Other than that, we're just hanging out and trying to enjoy the sunshine that's finally found SLC. The little dude is getting better and better at entertaining himself which is wonderful for me because I've started doing some part-time work from home for the company John works for. If you happen to buy some shoes at Famous Footwear or grab a snack at Panera Bakery (for all you non-Utahns) take a look at their surveys--I wrote them! Well, more like put them together using their brilliantly designed software but I consider that a feat since I'm not the most techno-savvy person.

And if I haven't already put you to sleep by this marathon of a blog update, check out this video. His face isn't usually so sad looking when he jumps, but of course you can never capture the best moments on camera. All I know is this kid would hang out in his jumperoo 24/7 if we'd let him!

P.S. Can you tell I had a little too much time while the video was uploading? Sorry for the crazy colors, hope you're not going blind by now!

We called Emma our little vacuum for a long time, they eat everything they can find! We are thrilled you guys are coming down, we can't wait to see little Johnny. Oh, and I better get over to Famous Footwear to take one of your surveys, that's awesome you're working for them.
